ELKU is a family-owned business based in Vlotho-Exter that has been manufacturing plastic components for household appliances in large production runs for over 35 years. In the field of automation technology, you will ensure that production continues without interruption: You will maintain and repair our injection molding machines, set up new production lines, and assist with the programming of control units using Siemens S7 and TIA Portal.
Your Tasks
- Installation, Repair, Overhaul, and Maintenance of Our Production Equipment
- Modifications to injection molding machines, fabrication of auxiliary equipment, construction of new production facilities, and support for product-specific programming of control units (Siemens S7 / TIA Portal)
Your Profile
- You have completed training as an industrial mechanic or mechatronics technician, or have completed comparable vocational training
- Ideally, some initial experience in the plastics industry
- You have already gained some insight into Siemens control systems and servo technology
- Practical knowledge of conventional metalworking
- A proactive, structured, independent, and team-oriented approach to work
